Hey, I was looking to remove the data that WMP stored on
my machine, namely the names of CDs and their info. I
want to do this because about half of the CDs I played in
WMP downloaded the WRONG names and info. Is this data
stored in a specific registry location, or hard-drive
location? Thanks.

It's here:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Media Player

Don't know if you can just delete it. But I guess you could make a backup
copy of and see what happens :)

I tried deleting that file under all accounts, and even
while not connected to the net, it remembers the CD names
(even though they're wrong) and track titles. I was
thinking maybe it had a backup copy in a system folder or
somewhere.
