Windows Media Player and movie maker

Many of my video clips end up in Windows media player. Also when my movie is
saved as my final project it ends up in windows media player. Does anyone
know if these clips can be brought back to windows movie maker so they can be
used for another project so that I can select the clips that I want right
from windows movie maker? It appears that the finished projects get saved in
Windows media player as a default. When I use Nero to burn a DVD I can acess
those projects and can burn them if I wish. However , sometimes the project
may not be done as a final home movie.

The video clips are on your hard drive, not in the player or Movie Maker....
each can access and play or use them as you want.

Yes, you can import a saved movie and use it as a clip in another project.

The default player for a file type of WMV (your saved movie)... is probably
the Windows Media Player.... Movie Maker isn't a player so it wouldn't
usually be one to assign as the default for WMV files.... the default file
for Movie Maker is your project file which has a .MSWMM extension.
