windows media player 9.0

can you help me?
when I am using windows media player to play audio cd or
playing music from my saved playlists, it keeps skipping
over some of the tracks. In other words it does not play
the tracks in order, it almost always skips over some of
the tracks

Make sure that "shuffle" is turned of. The shuffle button
is found where the play and ffwd buttons are.
