Windows Media Center VISTA - Only Maximize Screen and Minimize Screen?

Hello,
I have Windows Media Center running in Windows Vista Ultimate. For some
reason, I can only run it in maximize screen mode. When I press the windowed
button in the upper right corner, it minimizes the screen. Is this normal?
I don't think so. Does anyone know how to run Windows Media Center in
windowed mode?

Please advise.
Thanks

That is not normal, but similar to a problem I have. Media Center starts
maximized...I click the window button (middle one of the three) and my
screen refreshes but Media Center is still full screen. When I click that
button a second time, _then_ it works and goes down to a window. I have no
clue why it does this...

I figured it out. It has something to do with working in a dual monitor
environment. If you at one point had a dual monitor set-up, then set it up
again by connecting the second monitor to your system. Then under display
settings, switch the second monitor to become your main monitor. Then open
up windows media center again and it should be in windowed mode. It worked
for me and should hopefully work for you.

In my case I only have one monitor, running at 1600x1200...that might have
something to do with it...
