Windows ME

[Hilton Gamble]

I am trying to download the Beta anti spyware but it tells
me that it does not run on Windows ME.Why? and secondly
what anti spyware does anyone recommend for my system (
preferably FREE!!!!)

Unfortunately Microsoft AntiSpyware is only compatible
with Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Server 2003

As for other "free" spyware utilities try:

www.lavasoft.com - Ad-aware SE Personal (Free only for
non-corporate use)

or

www.safer-networking.org - Spybot Search & Destroy
(freeware)
