Be patient, you don't need to post this twice, as someone will get to you
sooner or later.
Anyway, right click on "My Computer" on your Desktop, then choose "Manage".
You then will be in Computer Management, and you'll then want to double
click in the main window "Services and Applications", then double click on
"Services". Scroll down to "Windows Management Instrumentation", and right
click on the line item (not on the WMI Driver Extensions), choose
properties. In the snapin, choose to "Stop" the service by clicking the
"Stop" button, and then "disable" it in the "Startup Type" drop down box.
Then return it to "Automatic" in the drop down box, and then click the
"Start" button. If the item is already automatic, and started, do the stop
then start procedure anyway to see if the will help you. Post back with
results.
