Windows managed pagefile question.

I installed XP home on two systems with 1.5 gigs memory and in both cases
the pagefile is "Custom". Why would windows not set it to "Windows
Managed"? I thought that it was default for windos to manage it.

What would be a good min and max for a system with 1.5 gigs memory?

Hi,

The correct setting depends on your needs. With a lot of memory, you may not
want to set the minimum to 1.5x the ram size. Instead, you may want to start
with a comparatively small pagefile. There are some caveats to doing so
