XP pagefile & fragmentation

Hello everyone,

I had two questions about XP

If I manually set the pagefile on c:\ will it lead to less fragmentation
than system managed or will it not matter ?

and does the pagefile cause fragmenation on the whole volume it's on or just
to itself ?

Thank you for the answers to these.

It doesn't matter. Because the page file is accessed randomly anyway,
fragmentation of it is not an issue.

System managed can lead to greater fragmentation in the page file but it's
not really a performance problem because of the way it's accessed.
