windows mail keeps telling there is an (An unknown error has occurred.
Account: 'pop.windstream.net', Server: 'pop.windstream.net', Protocol: POP3,
Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x80004005) can any one help
i have every tning i can think of in geting this to work end the identities
will not work they keep saying imported or delited and can not go now were
there eather

"Unknown error" is usually caused by interference from an antivirus
program. Which antivirus are you running?
As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus should be turned off,
although that may not be sufficient to eliminate all bad effects.
In a worst case scenario, your antivirus may need to be uninstalled.

Email scanning in any antivirus should be disabled, for reasons
explained here:
http://thundercloud.net/infoave/tutorials/email-scanning/index.htm

If the problem continues, delete that account, restart Windows Mail,
then recreate that account.

If no improvement, let us know, because there are other possible
solutions.
