Windows Mail

Hi can someone help me how can i select my mail first before i open it ?
As soon as i highlite the mail it automaticly opens and this is what i would
like to stop, were as in Outlook Express i would need to double click on it
first to open it, and that is what i would like to do with Windows Mail.
