IMAP is used as a protocol, not as a format. Make sure your email
server will accept this protocol; many won't. If yours will, click on
Tools, then Accounts, then your email account, then Properties, then
Servers. If the text in the box after My incoming mail server is a is
something other than IMAP, replace it with IMAP, then click Apply.
Changing to IMAP usually requires some other changes as well
before you click on OK, such as the port number.

Today the format tab at the top of the software disappeared. I use this to
change fonts, make text bold and to color text. Why does Microsoft provide
these tools and then take them away. Shouldn't there be some consistency?
Is this problem going to get fixed or should I start looking for another
provider?
