windows mail has been a nightmare. i can't get tomy account unless i access
through my road runner home page. had outlook express installed by a local
technology store. i have two desktop icons...one says microsoft office
outlook and the other syas windows mail, yet as i stated, those don't get me
to my email. if by some odd chance i do get to my email at one of those
places it will list only my email for the day and will delete my email
messages from my road runner page. how can i make this one email place and
how can i get my deleted messages from today? i am bereft!
thanks if anyone can help.

Outlook Express won't run properly under Vista. Outlook, version 2003
or later will. Version 2002 runs but with a few problems.

Sounds like you haven't set up to use the email servers properly.

Under Windows Mail, click on Tools, then Accounts, then your email
account, then Properties, then Advanced. If there is no check mark
in the box before Leave a copy of messages on server, click on this
box and then Apply. Click on OK and then Close.
