You'll get more help if you show us the whole error message.

When I go wireless I can send and receive from Web Mail OK but from windows
Mail I can receive only. I cannot send and I get error message, The
connection to the server has failed. Subject 'test', Account:
'mail.bellsouth.net', Server: 'mail.bellsouth.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Does the connection to the server go through any other internet provider's
equipment before it gets to bellsouth.net? If so, such connections to
port 25 are often blocked to cause trouble for spammers. Note that
wireless connections often take a route different from DSL connections.

Have you use bellsouth.net's instructions for setting up to use their
servers?

What if any antivirus programs do you have? Some of them are
known to cause trouble in Windows Mail, although seldom
immediately.
