Windows Mail

Does anyone know how to turn off Windows Mail? In order to install PC-cillin
the message says that I must close Windows Mail. Any advice?
 
PC-cillin or any other antivirus has no business interfering with
Windows Mail. You are asking for trouble if you allow it to set up email
scanning.
