I'm using Vista Home Premium.
Suddenly, for no apparent reason, I can't send e-mails. I have 3 accounts,
all correctly configured. All receive okay but can't send. I get the error
message: 0x800CCC19. Clearly not reaching the server connection although the
progress box states "Connected".
I checked out the server status, BT Broadband, all was okay, not even any
huge files waiting, and I've checked my Norton antivirus etc and can't see
anyhing wrong there or that has changed overnight.
After looking up the error message I found something about deleting the file
pop3uidl but this is for Outlook Express. I could not find this file anyway,
not even on my XP Home laptop.
Microsoft Support was no use.
Can anyone help me with this?
TIA
Ed
