Windows Mail

Although I am getting email, it is not being displayed properly. Mail comes
into my inbox and I can see the number increasing but I can't see my mail.

Have tried ensuring that settings show 'show all' even when off line and
this was working temporarily however when I clicked out of my inbox all my
mail disappeared.

It was recommended on this forum that I disable my email scanning of my
antivirus software, see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 - I still can't receive
my mail and now nothing happens when I do 'send and receive'.

From your statement below, it isn't clear what you did with your
antivirus after reading www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 .
I'd suggest uninstalling the antivirus program completely,
at least temporarily.
If WinMail still doesn't work, create a new email account with
the same settings as your existing account, then delete the
existing account. Restart WinMail and try again.
