Windows mail & Windows live mail help

JPUK

My comp. when I want to send out e-mail goes to windows mail which I cannot
use as it won't work in conjunction with windows live mail. Why would one
company had two incompatible programmes? Is not it a better idea to make them
at least linkable?? Even if you loose most of the features of windows mail so
that people could at least send mail out! Or have I missed somewhere that
will allow the comp. to send from widows live mail instead?

I also need some help as it seems that when I click on some other websites
link for contact us the windows live pops up on occasion. But I don't know
how to set it up as I have tried before.

I switched my ISP to insightbb.com which is thru my cable company. Besides
my webmail

I have gmail also but don't know what to do when the window mail pops up to
use for reply.

How do I set up the window mail to use for those reply popups?

I don't know why you consider those two programs incompatible since
I run them side-by-side without any problems.

It sounds like you would prefer to have Windows Live Mail as your
default email program. If so:
Open the Default Programs applet, which you can access either from
the Start menu or via the Control Panel, then click the first item:
"Set your default programs."
After a few seconds, a list of programs comes up. Click on "Windows
Live Mail". If it doesn't respond with "This program has all its defaults"
then fix it by clicking on the option indicated by the first green arrow.

That is the problem as I don't want to have windows live as my default but
need to set it up somehow so I can respond to those links when I need to for
those who use window live. I don't know if I have to set it up with my cable
ISP with is insightbb or not. Plus I have looked everywhere I could think of
to find their pop address but could not. What now?

You have explained what you *don't* want, but you never disclosed
what you *do* want in the way of mail service. What is your preferred
method of handling email?
