Hi Ive tried for weeks to set up Windows Mail, I can send emails but not
receive keep getting this message:-
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'windows mail', Server:
'pop.orange.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error:
10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Can someone please help!
Thanks

Are you sure Orange supports port 995 and SSL?
I could not find anything definitive online.
Normally you'd use port 110, no SSL.

Hi Gary changed the port, got a little further actually went to "authorizing"
but then threw up Login username and password. I have so many passwords for
different things which one do they mean?, none of them seem to work can you
help again please?

I have no way of knowing what your username and password should be.
We will probably have to wait for Julian to assist you because
(unlike me) he is very familiar with the UK ISPs.

Seems like their should be a customer service number for Orange
that you could call.

It looks like you have settings wrong.
For instance, according to this...
http://tinyurl.com/2rqxx3
you server names should be

incoming e-mail server: pop.orangehome.co.uk
outgoing email server: smtp.orangehome.co.uk

Hi Julian
changed my settings and now im receiving this message:
Account: 'windows mail', Server: 'pop.orangehome.co.uk', Protocol: POP3,
Server Response: '-ERR [AUTH] Invalid login/password pair', Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92
