Windows mail resieving but can not send

Hello!

I have had Windows Mail for 4 months now with no problems. Suddenly i can
just resieve mail, i get this message when trying to send a mail "Det har
oppstått en ukjent feil. Emne 'Re: Addgangskontroll', Konto: 'pop.gmail.com',
Server: 'smtp.gmail.com', Protokoll: SMTP, Port: 465, Sikker (SSL): Ja,
Feilkode: 0x800CCC0B"

What if any antivirus programs do you have, and have you ever had a Norton
or McAfee antivirus program on that computer, even a trial version? Some
such programs tend to cause assorted problems in Windows Mail, although
seldom immediately.

Click on the Outbox, then either move any messages you find there to the
Drafts folder or delete them. If any refuse to do either, you should be
able
to get a temporary fix by downloading and installing this hotfix with
Windows
Mail not running:

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other folders. If you don't know whether you have a 32-bit version
of Vista or a 64-bit version, try the hotfix for the 32-bit version first.
The Vista SP1 update includes this hotfix and more, but takes hours
longer to install.

That problem can be caused by a non-compatible antivirus program.
Which antivirus are you running?

As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus program must be disabled.

0x800CCC0B BUSY Server or maildrop is busy.

The server may actually be busy.
This can also be caused by email scanning slowing things down.
Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML
files from the scan. It provides no protection not provided by the regular
resident protection.
Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
Outlook Express and should be uninstalled. The latest version of Trend's
anti-virus seems to be causing problems too.
