Windows Mail Protocol settings for MSN "paid" accounts

I have used MSN as my ISP provider for years and have always needed and used
Outlook Express. I am really bent that I am having so much problem setting up
my wifes new computer with Vista, using Windows Mail. No where can I find the
proper protocol settings for the pop3 and smtp if you use MSN as your
provider. I cannot send or receive nor have any of the suggestions or
problems in this discussion forum been of any value. Just show me where to go
to set up Windows Mail when you have Microsoft as your provider and, DO NOT
TELL ME TO JUST TRY WINDOWS LIVE AS AN ALTERNATIVE! It appears that using
Yahoo or Gmail is much easier to settup.

If your MSN connection under Outlook express uses the HTTP protocol,
you cannot just transfer this account to Windows Mail and expect it to
work.

Outlook Express won't run under Vista.

Make sure you are considering the Windows Live Mail program, not
some other program in the Windows Live family.

It can take over any accounts Windows Mail can use, in addition to
adding the ability to use many types of HTTP protocol accounts,
such as Hotmail.

Why not copy the settings from your old Outlook Express?
The same settings should work in Windows Mail.
I'm assuming you have a premium MSN account with POP access.
