Up until 4pm (British Time) my mail was working fine. Now I can't receive or
send e-mails. I have a home PC running XP and laptop running Vista. Both are
on a wireless network and cannot send/receive mail on either machines. Any
advice?

What if any error messages do you get on the Vista machine if you try to
send
and receive mail? Right click on them and copy the entire error messages to
your next message.

What if any antivirus programs, antispyware programs, and antispam
programs do you have on your Vista machine, and have you ever had a
Norton or McAfee antivirus program on that machine?

We're unlikely to be able to offer much help for the XP machine, except
to tell you a newsgroup where you're more likely to get help for it if you
tell us what email program you're using there.

Have you asked your email provider if their email servers are working
properly now? If they aren't, that would produce email problems on
both of your machines.

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop.supanet.com', Server:
'pop.supanet.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error:
10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
I am running OneCare AV and I did have McAfee until Friday when I did a
clean sweep on laptop/vista.
I have tried to contact my ISP but no luck as yet.

Did you uninstall the McAfee program, not just delete any shortcuts used for
starting it? After that, you often need to run this cleanup program to take
care of what the uninstall left behind:

You sometimes then need to remove your email account under Windows
Mail, then restart Windows Mail and add the account again.

You aren't clear on whether that leaves the Vista computer without any
antivirus programs. If it does, we can recommend replacement
programs that don't cause problems in Windows Mail.

If the OneCare AV program is on the Vista machine, does it have an
option to disable email scanning? If so, this can reduce its chances
for interfering with Windows Mail if you leave email scanning disabled.
