Windows Mail not receiving

My email account was with Freeserve, then Wanadoo then Orange. So I have
three email accounts plus Hotmail. My main email address is still Freeserve
but my user name is with Wanadoo and my ISP is Orange. Life gets
complicated! I am using Vista Home premium and until about ten days ago all
was fine with my Freeserve emails being picked up in Windows Mail. Then for
no apparent reason all my mail started going to the Orange web site. I have
tried all the solutions on offer and have received some advice from Orange
but no matter how often I remove and renew the Accounts or check and
re-check the Defaults nothing comes into Windows Mail. I can send from it,
but not receive. I was using AVG. Tried disabling the email scanner and then
disabling the whole lot, but no joy. I now have your recommended Avast
installed. I think I've tried everything on offer. Something new and
successful would be tremendous! Thanks.

Do you get any error message when you try to receive?

I am also having trouble getting my mail. this morning I was able to get it.
Now I can't get it off of windows mail.
Help.....

No error messages, just a quick scan of the ISPs then 'No new messages'.
