Windows Mail - goes offline by itself

If I open windows mail news reader and spend too much time reading a message
or go get a cup of coffee in the kitchen and come back (maybe a couple of
minutes later) windows mail shows that it is still online but all I get is
the never ending hourglass when I go to view a new posting. I have to double
click "Working Online" go ofline and then back online for things to start
working again.

Anybody know how I can correct this problem?

You would probably get better advice in the mail newsgroup as that is where
the mail experts hang out.
