I configured the e-mail correctly and it recieves and sends messages,
therefore, it doesn't work all the time. Only some times.
As this e-mail I use is the enterprise e-mail, I need it to work all the
time I click in "send/recieve messages" and don't need it to work "when it
decides to" and so, most of the times, I can't use the Windows Mail, but the
site where I registered my e-mail in, which doesn't have all the resources
the Windows Mail does.
It works in random times... Last Friday, I started working at 8:30 am and
the messages only were recieved at 5:00 pm.
So, I'd like to know... What's going on?

I would not depend on a freebie email client for "enterprise" duty.
That's what Outlook is for.

Your description of the problem is too general for me to troubleshoot.
If you get an error message, copy it and post it here.

Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML
files from the scan. It provides no protection not provided by the regular
resident protection.
Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
Outlook Express and should be uninstalled. The latest version of Trend's
anti-virus seems to be causing problems too.

Not a good excuse. If MS can't fix a small email client, then why should I
trust them with a "enterprise duty" one?

Windows Mail seems to have been tossed in the box at the last minute to get
Vista out the door.
MS "fixed" it by creating Windows Live Mail.
Neither client is as robust as Outlook, which (of course) they wish to sell.

Your choice, if you want to take the chance.
If you throw heavy duty stuff at a light-weight email client,
it is more likely to break or fall short.

The error messages say:

"Your POP3 server has not responded in 60 seconds. Would you like to wait
another 60 seconds for the server to respond?

Account: POP3.oi.com.br
Server: POP.oi.com.br"

And also: "Account: 'POP3.oi.com.br', Server: 'POP3.oi.com.br', Protocol:
POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC19"

I already had called this "oi" enterprise, but they say the problem is not
there.

I use the Trend Anti-Virus and disabled the e-mail scanning. Now, it only
scans infected files, but it still didn't solve the problem.
I just wonder why some times the e-mails are recieved into the Windows mail
and why it doesn't get them and I'd like it to always get these e-mails and
send them, of course. I'd like to use the Windows mail only instead of
checking this bad account on "oi" website all the time.

A recent version of the Trend antivirus program (details not available)
causes
assorted problems in Windows Mail, and disabling part or all of it seldom
helps.
You usually have to uninstall it instead.

If this cures you problem, you may want a replacement antivirus program that
doesn't cause problems in Windows Mail. Most versions of the Norton
antivirus
program and most versions of the McAfee antivirus program are bad choices;
they seem to cause even more problems in Windows Mail, although seldom
immediately. I recommend either avast! or AVG, either one with a custom
install
that tells it to leave out the parts that scan email.

If you have any more problems, we'll need a more complete description.
For example, right click on any error messages you get and copy them
to your next message.

Also, many of the frequent responders in this newsgroup use methods
of reaching the newsgroup that have some advantages, but make it difficult
to go back to previous messages in the same thread to see what you didn't
quote.
