Windows Mail does not do hyperlink inserts

I have received an update recently. My Windows Mail program will no longer
insert hyperlinks. The hyperlinks look like hyperlinks but do not function.
They will not go to a web link when clicked.
 
Are you talking about hyperlinks in a message that is being composed?
The hyperlinks will become active after the message is sent.
