Windows Mail disable

I somhow enabled Windows Mail but want to turn it off & use my other email
program. I can't find out where to turn this off - can someone help me?
 
That depends on what your other email program is.Why keep it a secret?
It may not have a capability to register with Vista, so may require a special fix.
