Windows Mail-can't set it as default

I cannot set my Windows Mail as my default. I've tried going to Start,
default programs,set default programs, etc, but it doesn't work. I've also
tried to click on Tools(in outlook express), then options and I don't see
anything about setting defaults-I've already looked through all of the tabs.
Any more suggestions?

Outlook Express won't run under Vista. Windows Mail comes with Vista
instead. Are you sure you've found a way to run them on the same
machine?

Check if you need this fix, then use the Default Programs applet it refers

Start from the beginning. Tell us what happens to make you
think Windows Mail is not the default. What is it doing or not
doing that you don't like?
