Suddenly I have lost all my newsgroups and the option to view them
[Tools//Newsgroups] has also disappeared.

Can anyone help me with this?

TIA

Ed

CTRL+W is the shortcut. Failing that can you go into Tools > Accounts to set
up a new one?

Thanks, Dave. Ctrl +W does not work. How do I set up a new one after
Tools//Accounts? All I get is a single window with my present accounts.

I'm running Vista Home Premium.

Thanks for your patience, Dave. Do I take it the server for this newsgroup
is (1) msnews.microsoft.com, or (2) microsoft.public.windows.vista.general?

The latter is the server, when you get that done search for
vista.general because there are thousands of groups you could subscribe
to. This link "Might" do it.

news://msnews.microsoft.com

Thanks, Charlie. This time I'm using my PC!!, but I think you meant the
'former'. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Ed
