Windows Mail can not be started

I cna not start Windows Mail even after trying the "run as administrator"
fix. When I run as administrator i get the error message
C:\Program Files\Windows Mail\Winmail.exe
The parameteer is incorrect.
All this happened after I recovered my documents and settings *.bkf file
from my old XP system.

How can I recover from this one?
