Windows Mail and Outlook

So i have a new laptop and it came with Vista Home Basic. No Word, No Excel,
however i do have windows mail and im not able to backup my info from my treo
700wx. I was told that windows mail would do this but i havent been able to
do that. Cam someone help me? Thank You

No, you can't sync Windows Mail mail through Mobile Device Center...yet.
Best you acquire Microsoft Office Outlook 2007.

Why can't I sync Windows mail, calendar or contacts? Windows Mobile Device
Center only supports synchronization with Microsoft Outlook or Exchange. We
currently do not support synchronization with Windows Mail, Windows Calendar
or the Windows Address book.
