Windows Mail and Display Text Size?

I'm looking for an option that would allow my Windows Mail under Vista Ultimate to give me much larger text: although I have selected the largest text size as my default in some mail messages it's still too small. Is there a method of simply setting the default display size in points?

Answered my own question: under options simply set read messages in plain text. Simple dumb answer to a simple dumb question. Duh!
