Increasing Windows Mail Messages Text Size?

I find the text size on a selected to Windows mail message, even when set to largest, is too small to read. There must be a means for making that text size larger?

Is there a setting I missed, or do I have to go spelunking into the registry?

Change your desktop resolution to a much lower resolution (Display Settings)
or increase system font size, right click Desktop > click Personalize >
under 'Tasks' > Adjust font size (DPI). On the DPI Scaling dialog > click
'Custom DPI...' in the lower right hand corner and follow the instructions
to see if it will make a difference.

Have you tried pressing CONTROL+ + , that is pressing the Control key
and the (+) key?

That was the first thing I tried!
Although I did find something that allows me to increase the font size, it does not appear to work on text messages within Windows Mail. . .
