Windows Mail 7

I had to redo my vista laptop and had Windows Mail version 7. Now that I
have the computer up and running again, I can't find version 7 anywhere.
That is what I had exported all my mail to and now since I can't upgrade (or
find where to upgrade) I can't import my mail that I had. I have tried
windows update because I read somewhere that it may be in those updates
somewhere, but not so far. I could have sworn I just hit an update button
somewhere and got it before, but don't really remember. Help? Where do I go
to get Windows Mail 7 upgrade?

There is no Windows Mail version 7

The Windows Mail that is included with Vista is version 6. There
haven't been any upgrades to Windows Mail, but you can download
the program that MS has called its replacement:

I knew I saw it! After downloading Windows Update (after redoing my computer
to factory settings), if you go to "File" and "Import", it does now say
Windows Mail 7 as a choice to import. when I originally exported before I
redid the computer, it gave a choice to export to Windows Mail 7. So it was
there after all! It doesn't say windows Mail 7 under Help, but it does under
Export.

Yes, that's an error. The correct name and version number of a Windows
program will usually be under Help, About...
