Windows Logon with Smartcard

I would like to manage the access to my computer by using
a smartcard. I've checked the online help but could not
find any hint how to configure the system. What I've done
so far is installing the smartcard reader which seems to
run properly.

smartcard logon is only available for domain based accounts in Active
Directory. You would have to install windows 2000/2003 server, create a
domain, join your machine to the domain, create a user account in the domain
and install a CA if you want this feature.
