Windows Logo Testing

I've just ried to install two "critical" updates from
Microsoft (directly from their website)-- Security Update
for Windows (KB824105) and Security Update for windows XP
(KB824146). Each generated the following message "The
software you are installing has not passed Windows Logo
testing to verify compatibility with windows XP. Software
will not be installed" This is very perplexing and
confusing. Any advice??

Scroll down to your Logo problem. Hope this helps. Let us know.

Thanls for both the very prompt replt as well as the good
direction. The first "recommendation (of four) on the
Microsoft website seems to have solved the issue. Again,
