Windows Live Email is a piece of crap

Get rid of the vertical columns across the screen. Or make a choice of
horizontal or vertical. When I try to read email, I open the individual
piece of email and it's on the far right vertical column in my screen. Then
I have to scroll back & forth vertically to read the tiny little section of
that piece of mail that I can see. When I want to read the rest ofs the
email, I have to scroll down, horizontally to see the rest. What a huge pain
in the butt. I abhore the way it looks on the screen and I can't stand
monkeying around, scrolling BOTH vertically & horizontally in order to read
the contents of one silly piece of mail. I want convenience, and ease of
use. I can't stand feeling like this stupid vertical column email program is
jacking up my time & patience. Also, upon installation, give me the choice
of leaving a copy of my mail on the server or not - don't have the thing auto
set to move everything from the email server to my hard drive. I'm having
trouble with my comp and unless the probs are resolved I'm NOT yet ready to
download every friggin' thing from the email server to my hard drive.

I'm VERY pissed off because I've lost my hard drive, my friggin' documents,
and now it looks like your STUPID program is going to cause me to lose all of
my inbox as well.

Thanks a lot. I feel totally screwed over and I think your stupid windows
live SUCKS and the developers are a bunch of inconsiderate, selfish blankety
blanks. There are no words to describe how inconvenienced and screwed over I
feel. Thanks a lot for undermining my attempt to start my own business and
making me lose my hard drive and my contacts and my inbox.

What the heck else do you developers want to screw me over with? I'm going
back to XP because trying to work with Vista has been a huge loss for me.
Mainly, you developers keep stealing my TIME and I resent the heck out of it.

So you haven't found out how to do that yourself?

horizontal or vertical. When I try to read email, I open the individual

Doesn't happen here - you must have done something yourself.

Quit the stupid rant

So why didn't YOU tell it to keep a copy on the server BEFORE you downloaded
emails?

I'm having trouble with my comp

Tell you what, do you still have the packaging it came in? If so. box it up,
take it back to where you bought it, and maybe the nice man will exchange it
for a gameboy - seems like that's all you are capable of dealing with...

I haven't heard of a program called Windows Live Email. This newsgroup
is meant for problems with the Windows Mail program. If you mean the
Windows Live Mail program, you're likely to get better answers in
newsgroup:

microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

In either newsgroup, you're likely to need a better description of your
problem to get much help.

In Windows Mail, you could try clicking on the vertical lines and dragging
them to one side.

It always helps to read the instructions first.
Evidently you are using the layout that puts the three panes side-
by-side (folder pane, message list pane, and reading pane).
To revert to the standard OE/WM layout: View, Layout, Reading Pane,
"At the bottom..."
