windows installer

After having tried to install and uninstall severel
programs I discovered that windows installer on my XP
system was somehow..missing. I have looked for it in
windows downloads but am unable to find the one for XP. Is
there anyone who has any information or help?

Run system restore or run Windows XP Repair
