I receive the following error message when trying to
install mcaffee 4.5.1. on two computers running W2K:

Windows Installer
Incorrect command line parameter
Portions of this software are based in part on the work of
the independent JPEG group


I am running windows 2000 and ran the InstMSIW.exe first
then rebooted. this happens on two PCs identically.
Please respond to dadniemo as well

Check out the setup.ini file in the installation package. In the [Startup]
section, there should be a CmdLine parameter - check that all switches on
this line are valid. Or just leave an empty CmdLine - this is pretty much
guaranteed to work, but it probably won't produce any installation log
output files, etc.

Or give McAfee a call.
