windows installer wont work were can i download it?

i keep getting an error with installer were do i get it for XP? i found it
for 98 and 2000?

What error? What are you trying to do? What kind of computer are you
having issues with?

XP has installer pre-installed,try run,type:services.msc In msc,scroll
down to windows installer,double click on it,then in properties,select,run
automatically from the manual setting its in,then start service,close out.
With SP1 only installed,you could download installer 3.0 redistribute from
microsoft but it doesnt work with SP2
