WINDOWS INSTALLER - starts on every (re)boot

Every timer I boot, I get a pop up for windows Installer stating that "The
feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable idsk that is
not available. Insert ......."

Unfotunately, the feature is up and running very well. The only way I can
stop it is with Windows Task Manager.

Any idea on how to prevent this wrong msg box from coming up?

win xp/sp2

The program is "Sonic Record Now DX" . And Yes i have let it do it's thing. HOWEVER, what program is being requested has nothing to do with the problem. I have loaded the program several times and it comes right back. (I also do not use it.) It's right there on every boot and I end up killing it with Windows Task Master on every shut down/restart as the system can not terminate it normally. Prior to this happening, CHKDSK created recover files and every time I would click on one of its *.000 files, I would get an install msg-but for a different program. NOT clicking on a *.000 file does not solve the problem as it ALWAYS comes up after any boot.

Run the windows installer clean up utility and remove any references to this
program. You may need to reinstall it after that.
