Windows Installer Problems

Hi,
When I boot windows xp home or professional, windows installer starts.
Then I get a message "This MSI must be run from Setup"..... I am not
installing anything. It appearst that windows installer is trying to install
SOMETHING but I know not what.

Any ideas?

Run a Spyware or Adaware detection program. Spybot Search and Destroy or
Adaware are freeware and available as downloads.

If they don't kill off any nasties and solve the problem, then follow the
prompts for installation.

Occasionally a change in configuration may trigger Office or Windows to want
a reinstallation.

Bar, I'll give it a try. Thanks for the info. Perhaps a "repair" of office
will do the trick. I'll let you know.
