Windows Installer Problem

Hi-
I keep getting a dropdown that says Another installation is in progress. You
must complete the other installation........etc. When I close the installer
our, then try to install something, the same dropdown appears. Help before
I've pulled ALL my hair out. Thanks.

No, it's been doing this since yesterday and the computer has been restarted
several times.
