Ok so i'm having the age old problem of the Windows installer failing to
start because its either in safe mode or the installation has gone wrong.

Ive been reading through what members have posted on here and then I
attemtped to goto the "services" and right click and try to start windows
installer manually, but I got this following error message:

"Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly"

I went to the event viewer and this was posted there with a red X

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7034
Date: 28/08/2007
Time: 12:06:35

Description:
The Windows Installer service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 8
time(s).

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Any help would be greatly apprecieted. Also on a side note i have downloaded
and tried installing the file "WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe" to no
avail. Thank you for your time
