but I had a box come up telling me to save all work that the system was
shutting down in 30 seconds initiated by NT Authority because the Remote
Procedure Call had terminated unexpectedly.

Have you installed antivirus software, and if so, are the virus
definitions up to date? If so, scan your computer for viruses.

I run AVG but since I posted that I found a process that I've not seen
before. (lviss.exe) Researching it I found it to be something I didn't want
at all. I found something called Project 1 also. I think I have it all
cleared off now and I have installed Prevx 1 to ensure its all gone.
