windows installer interruption...

On Vista when I try to load a game (Area 51 and others) my windows installer
(the installshield wizzard) begins to install the game to the hard drive but
quickly stops and tells me that it has been 'interrupted' at which point it
closes down the installation. This has never happened before - can anybody
fix this problem. Note - I have already re-installed vista but the problem
staill remains.

Hi,

Have you checked with support for the game you are trying to install? You
may need to check that you have a compatible version, or that you need to
run setup as an administrator (right click the file, use 'run as admin' even
if you are using an admin account).
