I am running XP pro Service 2
When I first turn on the computer Windows freezes at the title screen (with
the little blue bars).
If I reset the computer, Windows still freezes.
If I turn off the power, wait 15 seconds, then Windows loads but only after
freezing on the title screen for apporxiamtely 2 minutes.

Any ideas on what I can do to have Windows load more reliably?

Thanks for any help/advice.

Press F8 on restart, to choose the bootlog option. Look in the %windir% for
NTBTLOG.TXT and some hint of what is failing. (Some device file probably.)

You seem to have some BIOS problem. You are not seeing your hardware for
some reason.
