Windows IE size

When i open IE it opens full screen, but when i open a
link after it is already open and it opens a new browser
window it open a new window smaller. i would like for it
to be full size also. i have tried maximizing that window
and closing it by the X and also by the close button.
please help me with this problem. Thanks

Drag corners of window to screen corners. Then hold Shift and ctrl keys
down together while clicking on the X. That particular link should now open
as sized.
