Windows Hotfix problem

I am running xp pro with SP2 and I was installing a few hotfixes to
correct some problems i had with my pc. I was downloading them and
installing them one at a time and the very last one I installed I had to
restart in order for it to take affect, so I did and it went through its
normal procedure and then the microsoft screen came on with the blue
thingy that travels across the little box in the middle of the screen.
it did it fifteen times and went off, I waited and waited and waited, at
least 12 hours and nothing happened, just a blank screen so I tried to
boot up in Safe mode and all I got a was something like this;
multi(0)rdisk(1)partiton/win32system/neb.driver and it was a whole page
of different drivers like this...what has happened and what do I need to
do to fix this?..I will delete this hotfix and install SP3 when I can
get it start again...please help

Since you are not able to boot in either normal and\or Safe mode then read on

This issue (multi(0)rdisk(1)partiton/win32system/neb.driver) seems to be a change in
you boot loader in boot.ini.

The only thing that I can think of off hand at present to try and boot up is to try
a Repair install.Failing that a reformat would be in order.

Did you by any chance install the Adobe security update on your system

I installed windows hotfix KB924051, (a hot fix to repair a cd burning
problem in winxp) and Im pretty sure its a service pack 2 hotfix. the
thing I described (mulit(0)rdisk(1)partition/win32system is just one of
about 50 on the page that comes up after I try booting in safe mode. How
do I do a repair installation or how can I get back into my windows xp
to delete this hotfix or do a system restore?
