I have just recently installed a EFGA
FX 5200 128meg graphics card, and since installing it
everything has gone as expected......except....my windows
desktop hangs after some period of inactivity, I dont know
how long it takes to get the hang, but that is the only
time I get a hang. It requires a hard reboot as the
machine is completly unresponsive....any takers on this
one? Jerrye

Try installing the latest nVidia drivers. The drivers that come with it
and with Windows are outdated.

Thanks Nathan.....I have installed the Nvidia drivers, It
didnt work....do you think that it might be a power shut
down ? where can I check the power output ? ? Jerrye

This sounds like a Power Management problem then. Check your BIOS
settings and see what settings are in there for your power management. I
am going to assume your computer uses ACPI instead of MPS as that is on
most computer built within the last five years or so. Try this as well,
start-control panel-power options. Check the settings for suspend and
hibernation. Make sure these options are supported by your computer and
set in your BIOS.

As for the power output, try downloading Everest Home and check your
voltages in there to make sure they are within operating perameters.
