Hi all,

What gives with the installer update that comes along with Windows
Genuine Advantage?

On several newer notebooks and desktops with XP the update causes
resource changes and in the case of a year old Toshiba Satellite, a
resource conflict with its internal wireless NIC.

I can isolate the resource changing to the update since in two cases
both PCs were reimaged and working until Windows Update was attempted.
During the after the WPA chack and installer change XP reports a
restart is required for new hardware and in the Toshibas case the NIC
stops because fo a resource conflict.

Thanks,

TMT
